Oh yeah!

I have decided that I'm going to just take pics in mouse look.. I figure that would be the best way to do it since that's how a person takes a pic with a camera right? I figure I don't do much blogging for fashion or anything so I don't need to take pics of myself. I guess we'll find out how long this lasts LOL

WARNING!!! Major Rambling!!!

Alright this isn't going to be easy for anyone to understand, but I wanted to post something and so I figured my thoughts would be something to post... So if your willing to try and understand my rambling thoughts then by all means have fun and good luck, otherwise I hope you at least enjoy the picture LOL!





So my thoughts are always very sporadic.. Flying from one thing to another depending on what I think of first and what outside influences are around.





I was thinking that change is always around us. Change in friends change in appearance, change in weather, time, everything.. Yet I avoid change like the plague! Unless it's internal change.. I love internal change, but outside change I hate and avoid at all cost. I think that's why I have a hard time giving things up. I'm a major pack rat when it comes to anything and everything, hell even people too.. Internal change on the other hand, I welcome it, embrace it like a lost love. I am constantly thinking about life, My life, the way of life.. I'm a weirdo in all forms lol!

Subject change

So I was listening to a song called Lies and of course it's about lying.. And it got me thinking "of course" about lies.. But is there are good lie? I mean I just basically lied on my first life in the attempt to be funny. Sure none of it is true, but I was trying to be humorous. So it's a lie. And I hate lies.. Yet it's not meant to miss inform anyone, more to make someone look at it and who knows, they might giggle a little. So are lies ok? I mean if you ask me if something makes you look fat.. I'm going to be a good friend and tell you the truth. Yes that dress makes your ass look huge, but to me a big ass on a woman is a good thing.. I can admit it I love the human body in most forms.. I thought in all forms until I see these skinny ass guys on tv that you can see everyone of there ribs and I'm sorry but that, to me, is just bleh to say the least.. Ok jumping back to the lies thing.. Now then, Dictionary.com gives like 23 answers to the word Lie, so I wonder.. When is a lie not a bad thing? I mean sure, I didn't really think about it being a lie when I wrote my 1st life thingy. I just intended it to be funny.. Yet, I lied..

New Players in sl.. So last night Rosie and I were talking about a few things she is going to write a post about her old clothes.. Got me going threw my invy too lol Holy crappy I have things that are older then her! lol I found that rather amusing!... But anywho I digress.. So she was reading to me a few blog posts "since of course I never really read them I just like to look at the pictures, I think I'm to lazy or actually read them unless someone points out something interesting.. that's why I have Jelly and Rosie now isn't it LOL" and she brought to my attention that People were calling Canimal an "up and coming skin designer" and "new skin designer" stuff like that.. Ummm I have one question.. hasn't anyone noticed that SHE HAS A SKIN STORE? (see pic below)




Yep it's right there.. She has been making skins since about 06 from what I can figure out "since that's when Rosie got her skins there" So how can she be "new up and coming"? I don't think I understand that. But that isn't the first time I have seen such things like that. New players, and I don't mean nooblets fresh off the boat.. I mean a year or so old. I see them on the blogs talking about all sorts of things from designers to buggs. That yes they are new to them, but they are not actually new.. I guess I just miss the old days.. I have no idea if there were designer blogs or review blogs or any such things really.. they were not as big then as they are now if there were any. You just got L$ from your stipen and when to your fav stores or randomly dropped into different places and started looking around to see if there was anything you liked. Now it's all about what is the latest things on the blog feeds or Bloglines. And these who watch those intently are getting misinformed about these designers who have actually been doing this for years now. Mayahps you should do a little more homework before you call someone "new" and "up-n-coming" Now I'm not one to stand up for Canimal per say. I mean I do not know her personally and have probably never met her. I can say personally I don't like some of her business practices but that is just my opinion. I can and WILL say that I do think she has amazing talent and really always has have but to say she is new at skin. I'm sorry, but she isn't.. If you would look around you would see that she has made 2 styles of skins Tons each "no I did not count" and this latest skin release is just that.. A Release. Granted it's better then her older ones, but that is probably because she has been working on it and has gotten better at her craft. Like I said before No this isn't the firs time I have seen/heard about bloggers talking about "new" when it's not new.. It's just new to then. And for some unknown reason it bugs me. I know it's silly and probably could fall under petty if I really thought about it hard enough. But that's just how I feel.

So, anyone who actually is reading this *My Jelly and Rosie Hiiii* knows that in that picture is Rosie, myself, Jelly (yes in that order). Now the title of that picture is "Do Gooders Rosie Shark, JellyBean Madison" although in my Pics it is titled "Evil Beware! We kick ass and look good doing it!" But that's just me :P lol Anywho it got me thinking.. I've always wondered about that hole if you know someone who is popular that makes you popular too.. Well I think this is proof that statment is false! You see (and they will say I am wrong about this) I am very close friends with 2 very popular people. *pic above* :P lol And yet as it states that I'm pretty much unkown. You might even say invisible ok well I say it so there :P Now then, in all honesty I really don't care that my name isn't there.. In fact I like it that way. I Just found it interesting and shows you that no matter what you do.. It doesn't matter who you know, but more about how you are as a social butterfly..

So I was wondering..

Second Life in the classroom???? Honestly is this a good thing? I was watching TV and goofing around when I saw something that looked like Second Life.. I quickly turned up the TV but I wasn't fast enough. I knew it was a promo from a news channel here so I figured I would catch what they said when the news came on.. Well I'm a die hard Family Guy watcher and I forgot all about the news.. Yeah so what. :P Anywho I remembered that anything I want I can find online and I was right. So found the article online as to what they were talking about and sure enough they were talking about SL.. More to the point SL in the class room You can read it here if you want. It talks about how a school in Brooklyn doing just that. A science class in this school is using SL to teach there kids.. Now I'm not exactly sure how.. I did miss the actual program after all, but I wonder.. Is it the right thing to do? Sure, helps them learn and have fun which I'm a big advocate about when it comes to SL.. Hell before I got here I had no clue what a script even was.. I thought it was part of a play.. But what happen to working with your hands? Is this taking away from the oldy but goody dissecting of the frog? Or how about the ever popular volcano science fair project? What about science fairs all together? are they going to be held in SL now? I guess like anything there should be a middle ground.. Just hope they can find it.

Ok so Jelly tagged me a while back and I planned on doing this when I could. I got up today thinking I had to work at 10 and in fact I have to work at 11.. So I check my email and Realized I got tagged by Rosie now. I have an hour to kill so I figured I would go ahead and post while I can. Don't really like doing this sort of thing, but here goes..

Lets begin.. My Facts...



1) I am allergic to cats and live with 2 very cute, very cuddly, very clingy! cats named Claudia and Vincent. So I am on a perma diet of Claritin!



2) I hate Doctors! I have only had a good one about 2 times in my life. All the others I have seen have been the most inept Doctors Ever!



3) I can't spell for crap, so I try to look up everything about twice before I actually type it. Unless it's just a typo.



4) I love New York City!! But I also miss Arizona. It snows here and there it's in the upper 70's!!!!!

5) When I was about 6 years old. I walked up to a woman in a grocery store and asked her "are you pregnant or just fat" She replied "I'm just fat" I then felt so bad I ran under a table they had for sale items and I wouldn't come out until the woman came and talked me out. My mom was pissed! LOL

6) In High School I was on the flag line of the marching band. I didn't wear tights, but I did wear bloomers and had regular bloomer checks during a Football game... So yes I can honestly tell a story that starts out "one time at band camp" But no it doesn't finish like it does in the movies. Sorry. LOL

7) I wear sandals all summer, so now that it's winter I only have 2 pairs of socks and I do laundry every day! I really should get more socks.

8) I'm shy until I get to know someone, or unless I'm in a bad mood and then I'll just tell the person to piss off!

So, I have this African Violet that I got not to long ago.. He seemed to have taken a turn for the worst about 2 weeks ago while I was gone... because someone didn't water him.. but anyway that is neither here nor there. He is doing much better now and has even started getting more leaves *although it just started sprouting this morning*. So anyway, I was wondering what frank did all day. And of course that got my mind going.. So, here is the story of frank, the African Violet who sits in my bedroom on the window sill. LOL I know I have lost it :P



Frank woke up with the sun every morning and watched as the streets started bustling with the energy and feel that is NYC. He felt like he was the luckiest violet around. He had a great view to watch the people move around and the streets come alive. He was never in the direct sun and always had plenty of light (weather permitting of course).

Akasha, the girl that took care of him, kept him watered and fed and happy in his special soil. He liked it most when she would wake up early to open the blinds and the window before things really started to get going on the streets below. She would always do it with a smile, a yawn, and a pleasant "Good morning Frank" then start tending to his leaves.

Now there was a little problem with his leaves, but nothing that Frank or Akasha did mind you. Nope, it was because of Peter. Peter was a good guy and had tried to do the right thing. You see, when Akasha had changed him from the little pot he came in, to a bigger and better terracotta pot she had gotten some dirt on his leaves. Peter tried to get the dirt off using wet tissue.. With a counter or something, that would have been alright, but with Frank's leaves that wasn't. So he has tissue stuck to his leaves and every morning Akasha takes a few minutes to pick off a little more each day.

Today is about like every other day. Peter and Akasha would get ready for there day and Frank would listen to them and watch the people on the street. After they left, Frank sat and watched the people on the street bustling by. The shop keepers cleaning off the sidewalks and opening up for the day.

"It must be Wednesdays" Frank thought to himself. He could see the garbage gathered along the curb across the street.

"Morning Frank, hows it going?" a voice from behind him asked.

"Morning Frank, so anything good happen out there yet?" asked another

Frank knew without even looking who the voices belonged to. It was Claudia and Vincent the 2 cats that lived in the house too. Claudia, the black and white cat, was always very quiet and layed back. She was older and wiser being a hole 1 year old now. Vincent was just about the total opposite of Claudia. He was a gray and black cat who was going on 8 months. Still older then Frank, but a lot more playful then Claudia and Frank combined.

"Morning Claudia, Morning Vincent, Nothing yet, but the day is still young"

"Great, I hate missing the morning rush" said Vincent as he plopped down next to Frank. "I just always feel like I have missed something huge".

"Yes your brain" said Claudia. She jumped up on the window sill, stretched her front paws out in front of Frank, and layed down looking out the window.

"well that wasn't nice" said Vincent

"I'm sorry" Claudia said then turned to Frank and under her breath whispered "but it's true"

Frank just laughed.

Now this is sexual consent not pornography. And I'm not telling Germany or anyone how it should run there country. But it's all how things are looked and. From what country/state do the rules apply? Yes I know this is the question that everyone in the world has been asking for years now. But that is key isn't it.. Basic rules/regulations that need to be made/followed for Internet users. Child Pornography in any form is wrong no matter what!!!! That in my mind should never change, but what should is the way LL is doing to try and curve that in SL.

More venting

as I sat here and thought about the whole censoring in SL I just can't seem to get it off my mind! That's not the SL that I started in 3 years ago! I use to adore the fact that you could run around sl without the problem of censorship *well in Mature areas anyway* lol But now I can't even look up lolita if I wanted to add a new dress to my other 10 dresses! It's just a band aid and it's a bad one at that! I know where not here to totally stop child abuse, but do you really think that just because you instill Marshall law that the problem that started all this is going to go away? Oh but it won't be out in the open and there for not LL's problem to deal with. Ack!!! Punish the many because there are those out there that need to be cut into little pieces? In that way of thinking lets not have children all together.. That way there won't be any problems? I know I'm exaggerating, but it's the "baby steps" baby steps can help the world ie 1 can start change both good and bad!

It has come to my attention that I have this overwelming urge to blog recenlty.. So I figured I would reinstate the use of mine.. Not sure for now long or even if I will use it for more then now.. But what the heck, why not try for a little bit right? Couldn't hurt I supose :P

SL Weddings...

Now I have no problam with them.. I think they are great and infact I love planning them and doing all that fun stuff.. But for me it's kinda silly.. Kinda like sky diving when you can fly.. What is the point? I do love the close and the decorations.. I'm the first one to drop drawrs for a pretty dress when I'm in the mood.. I guess it all comes down to "can't do it in rl then sl is the way to go".

Yes, that is what I have been up to recently and why me and SL haven't gotten along LOL. Today I can't go anywhere so I thought I would blog and then play with Jelly *giggles*

So who has ever wanted to just run and hide in a ditch or a rock? Oooo me me me! Yes hiding is fun and a wonderful past time of mine, but NO LONGER! for I am Woman with coffee hear me roar! ^^ haha I'm in a very silly mood today and honestly have been for a few days now. It's fun, try it sometime :P

Ok on to different topics. OMGG yay Jelly and her developing talent at the movie making! I'm so tote proud of her for all that she is doing! She's going to have to start teaching me this stuff! LOL

Ok I honestly love Zabber's new boots! He has done such an awsome job on them! I'm pleasantly surprised. For those of you who don't know I'm not one who likes his shoes that much. He's good at what he does, but those shoes have this kind of triangle thing to them that drives me batty! But OMGG the boots are killer!!! YAY Zabbers WTG YOU!!!

Now then haven't been in to see much else, but when I get there I'll comment more on everything else that I see and do and fill you in as I go.

Alright I have this friend, it seems like the only time we ever talk is when were fighing..
